The Work

I spent twenty years as a healthcare executive, most recently as a divisional COO in a multi-billion dollar health system. I know what it feels like to sit in rooms where every decision carries organizational weight. And I know what it feels like to realize that the expertise that got you there isn't what gives you influence once you arrive.

The Pattern

In 2007, I founded Amplifi Executive Coaching because I kept seeing the same pattern. Brilliant, accomplished leaders who had built entire careers on deep knowledge and operational excellence were hitting a ceiling they could not think their way through. They were respected for what they knew. They were not being championed for how they led.

The gap was never competence. It was always relational.

The Shift

The leaders who break through that ceiling are not the ones who get smarter. They are the ones who learn to multiply their impact through others. They build trust deliberately. They communicate in ways that move people, not just inform them. They navigate organizational complexity without losing themselves in it.

That shift, from expert to multiplier, is the work I do every day.

The Framework

Everything I coach is built on Relational Intelligence: five measurable dimensions that determine how much of your expertise actually translates into organizational impact. Relational Awareness. Trust Architecture. Connective Communication. Collaborative Power. Systemic Influence.

This is not theory I borrowed from a textbook. It is a framework I developed from nearly two decades of watching what separates leaders who are respected from leaders who are followed.

The Work Today

I coach VP-level and above executives through the Executive Influence Program, a structured engagement that develops relational capabilities through real-world application with real stakeholders. Physician executives navigating the transition from clinical expert to organizational leader. Engineering and finance leaders whose analytical strengths need a relational counterpart. Senior leaders in complex organizations who are ready to be recognized for how they lead, not just what they know.

Coached clients from Microsoft, Mayo Clinic, Mercy Health, Pepsi, Sanofi, AstraZeneca, Synchrony, JLL, and leading health systems nationwide.
